As a Technical Producer II on the League Engine, you will lead a team to deliver crucial tools & systems used to develop League of Legends. You will be the custodian of strong delivery processes internal to the team and ensure that collaboration with external teams runs smoothly. You will oversee product backlogs, delivery, build work systems, maintain execution, and provide leadership with visibility on complex deliverables. You will also ensure the team works at a sustainable pace while navigating changing product requirements. You will report to the Manager of Technical Production.

Responsibilities:

Run the day to day production, operation, and development processes for the team

Improve work systems, team performance metrics, and goal setting

Assess the team's health and composition to ensure that the team is set up for success

Increase efficiency in how we do development through simplification and standardization

Gauge feasibility of product roadmap and partner with product and engineering leaders to right-size product scope and timelines

Partner with the Product Lead, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead and greater Program Leadership to help develop the technical product vision and execute the development strategy for the team

Create and contribute ideas to areas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines

Drive delivery excellence across the team by mentoring developers on production practices and processes

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large technical teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Excellent team leadership and ability to execute technical product vision

Experience applying Agile and Lean development processes such as Scrum and Kanban

Strong working knowledge in Jira use, configuration, and limitations

Proven ability to navigate complex partner relationships to ensure alignment across multiple development teams

Desired Qualifications:

Game development / understanding of how artists, engineers, and game designers build assets and game features for a modern game

Shipping and/or operating a game as a live service

Familiarity with Riot’s Games and League of Legends
