ABOUT THE TEAM

The Technical Security (TechSec) team within Anduril's Corporate Security Program is dedicated to protecting our people, physical assets, and proprietary innovations. We design, procure, and deploy robust technical security infrastructure and systems across our global footprint. Our mission is to create a secure built environment that enables Anduril's transformative work in defense technology. We focus on anticipating and addressing technical security challenges, ensuring Anduril's continued growth and innovation in a complex global landscape.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Technical Security Application Engineer, Manufacturing, is a hands-on technical role responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of physical access control systems (PACS) and video surveillance systems (VMS) across Anduril's sites, with a particular focus on Arsenal-1. This is a specialist role focused on system hardware, application-level configuration, and day-to-day technical problem solving.

In addition to hands-on system work, you'll support small-to-medium technical security projects, coordinate with vendors and integrators, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders. You'll work closely with senior team members on larger deployments while owning the reliability and performance of the systems in your area of responsibility. A working knowledge of IP networking is essential, as these systems are network-dependent.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Perform application-level configuration and administration of access control and video management systems.

Diagnose and resolve system, hardware, and network-related issues, escalating complex problems as needed.

Support the deployment, commissioning, and upgrade of technical security systems across sites.

Coordinate with vendors and integrators on installations, service calls, warranty issues, and system upgrades.

Assist in managing small-to-medium technical security projects, including scheduling, tracking tasks, and reporting status to stakeholders.

Perform preventative maintenance and health checks to ensure system uptime and reliability.

Configure and troubleshoot networking components supporting security systems (IP addressing, VLANs, switches, PoE, basic firewall/port configuration- in collaboration with Network Engineering teams).

Create and maintain technical documentation, as-builts, wiring diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain accurate device inventory and hardware/spares stock for supported sites.

Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, system issues, and resolutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting physical access control and/or video surveillance systems.

Extensive experience with Genetec Security Center.

Certification in Omnicast and Synergis.

Experience troubleshooting hardware, cabling, and low-voltage systems.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical documentation.

Experience working with vendors and integrators on installations and service.

Strong communication skills with the ability to update stakeholders on technical work and project status.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and structured cabling best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of experience in technical security systems, with a strong focus on access control, and intrusion detection.

Experience supporting technical security systems across multiple or global sites.

Strong project management skills and extensive experience with large-scale technical security system implementations and upgrades.
