Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing them into written documents. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent typing skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe them into written documents

Ensure accuracy and consistency in transcriptions by proofreading and editing

Use transcription software and equipment to streamline the transcription process

Meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work

Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure client satisfaction

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and quality of work

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in transcription or a related field preferred

Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute

Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in using transcription software and equipment

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
