Key Responsibilities

Invest the bank's excess liquidity under optimal conditions, within approved risk limits and permitted instruments.

Monitor and manage liquidity metrics: Value at Risk (VaR), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).

Manage bank relationships, negotiating the best rates and terms.

Manage repo investments and account holdings.

Execute FX purchases based on orders from the financial operations teams.

Participate in bid placement at Banco de México bond auctions, including the new deposit and liquidity auctions the team is implementing.

Collaborate with finance, risk, and operations teams to develop new capabilities and bank-specific products.

Knowledge of ACLME.

Use AI tools to improve and automate treasury processes.

Who We're Looking For

Cash management experience, preferably in financial institutions.

Solid knowledge of Mexican banking regulation and treasury investment instruments.

Clear understanding of the split between front office (defines strategy and negotiates terms) and back office (executes money movements); back-office profiles looking to grow into front office are also welcome.

Current AMIB certification (level 3 or 5), or willingness to obtain it before starting.

Strategic vision: ability to go beyond day-to-day operations and propose improvements and new capabilities.
