What the posting says
Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.
At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.
A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.
As a Vendor Operations focused on automation, you will work horizontally across our safety vendor ecosystem to drive programs that standardize, automate, and scale the processes that keep our operations running. Rather than owning a single vendor relationship in isolation, you will operate across systems, tools, and vendor partners to build repeatable workflows, introduce automation and LLM-based tooling where it drives efficiency, and establish the reporting and communication rhythms that keep senior leadership informed. This is a builder's role for someone equally comfortable in a vendor business review, a process-mapping session, and a dataset full of operational signals.
You will:
Lead horizontal programs that scale safety vendor operations by identifying friction across systems and vendor relationships, then designing and rolling out standardized processes and playbooks that improve quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to translate operational goals into concrete workflows, SLAs, and success metrics, holding programs accountable to measurable outcomes.
Identify and implement automation opportunities across manual and repetitive processes, including agentic and LLM-based solutions that reduce toil and increase consistency.
Build and maintain reporting that turns large, messy operational datasets into clear signals, including trend analyses and program-health metrics leadership can act on.
Draft and deliver crisp communications and updates for senior leadership, synthesizing program status, risks, and recommendations.
Serve as a connective layer across vendor operations, tooling, and cross-functional partners (Global Scaled Operations, Moderation, Customer Support, Legal, Finance, and Engineering), ensuring changes are coordinated and scaled rather than solved one-off.
You have:
3-5 years of program and/or project management experience, ideally in operations, vendor management, or a trust & safety-related environment (experience interacting with vendors or customer service operations is a strong plus).
A programmatic, systems-level mindset - you naturally look for the reusable process behind a one-off problem and know how to drive adoption across teams.
Hands-on experience automating processes, plus practical familiarity with leveraging LLMs for agentic solutions and a working understanding of basic machine learning concepts.
Experience with or exposure to vendor relationship management, including SLAs, performance reviews, escalations, and partnering to improve delivery.
High proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) and strong data fluency, with the ability to work with large datasets and turn them into reports and recommendations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of drafting materials for and communicating with senior leadership.
Basic proficiency in a coding or scripting language (e.g., Python, SQL) to independently explore and contextualize large datasets is preferred, but not mandatory.
Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, global team setting.
