Werkstudent/in Software Engineering for AI Systems (m/w/d)

At Niologic, we are building the leading consultancy for Product Engineering for AI and Location Intelligence in Germany. Combining the megatrends AI and Location Intelligence, we want to strive for bringing the cutting-edge into production for our clients and make a difference in their daily lives.

Contrary to current industry trends and backed by the trust of leading brands, we want to grow from an extraordinary 15 people team to a dream team of 50 players dedicated to retail and public security.

Tasks

As a working student, you will work on modern data products that rely on the latest cloud technology and API-driven frontends. Your tasks will be:

Implementation of SQL-based data structures

Planning and Implementation of data pipelines incl. data quality checks

Implementation of Infrastructure as Code for underlying components

Requirements

As a motivated team player with commitment and initiative, you should also have the following skills to fit into our team:

Good experience in data engineering using Python and SQL ELT

(we are not looking for implementations of dask/arrow/pandas),

Good experience in datawarehouse concepts,

Ability to craft ERD and BPNM and communicate ideas and plans to the team in a clean and structured manner,

Good language skills in German and English which allow you to understand the underlying data,

(Nice to have) Experience in data quality checks using frameworks like DBT

Willing to work on site at the office at least 2 days a week
