WooCommerce Checkout Pro: Apple Pay/Google Pay + EU VAT & Shipping (IT/ES/FR)

About the site: it is not hosted online. The only thing that exists is a full copy — a WordPress export (files + database). We send you the copy, and all the work happens on your own computer from that copy.

What we need: an experienced WooCommerce developer for a checkout upgrade on a store selling into Italy, Spain and France.

Scope:

Express payments — Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons through Stripe (official WooCommerce Stripe plugin) on product page, cart and checkout.

Country-based shipping and VAT — checkout recalculates shipping rates and VAT by buyer’s country (IT/ES/FR, EU VAT/OSS), clean tax classes and incl./excl. display. Exact rates are not finalized yet — build it configurable, numbers go in later.

Compatibility — everything coexists with the existing gateways (PayPal, Stripe and Klarna being added) without conflicts.

Testing — successful/failed payments, refunds, order statuses, express buttons on mobile and desktop, verified before handoff.

Requirements: proven WooCommerce checkout work, Stripe integration including payment request buttons, EU VAT handling in Woo. Multi-store experience is a plus.
