What the posting says
Your mission
As a working student in Marketing & Communications, you'll be part of our marketing team and help shape how Rail-Flow shows up in the market – on LinkedIn, at fairs and events, in our newsletter, and in the way we talk about our products. In a small team, you'll take on real tasks, see your work go live, and get regular feedback.
Content creation: You create content for LinkedIn, from copywriting to visuals and short animated videos.
Fairs & events: You help organise our presence at industry fairs and support internal and external events – including railXchange, our own conference on digitalisation and AI in rail logistics.
Branding & marketing material: You design branding and marketing materials in line with our corporate identity.
Market & competitor research: You research trends, competitors, and developments in the rail and logistics industry and prepare your findings for the team.
Newsletter & CRM: You manage our monthly newsletter and maintain data in our CRM system.
PR & external communications: You support our press and public relations work.
Short decision paths, real ownership, AI as a daily companion. You bring what you already know – you'll pick up the rest here.
Your profile
Studies: You are currently studying marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
Industry interest: You are interested in rail freight and logistics. No prior industry knowledge required.
Experience: Initial experience in marketing, communications, or PR through internships or working-student roles is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Initiative: You develop your own ideas and campaign concepts and take ownership of them.
Organisational skills: You manage several projects in parallel and stay structured in a fast-paced environment.
Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
IT skills: Confident with Microsoft Office and social media, ideally with experience in Canva, Vimeo, Jira, and Confluence.
AI skills: Initial experience with AI tools such as Claude or GPT, including prompting. Knowledge of HubSpot is a plus.
Teamwork: You work proactively and enjoy being part of a team.
